Job Description Position Summary:
Cadwell is seeking an SDET II to lead quality assurance for CadLink, our neurodiagnostic data management system used by hospital systems worldwide. You'll own the quality strategy for a complex multi-tier client-server application, serving as the primary QA contact for CadLink. The role balances test automation with manual testing for complex scenarios, exploratory testing, and release validation. Key Duties /Responsibilities:
Lead Testing :
Own quality strategy, test planning, and release readiness forCadLink Build Automation :
Design and maintain automated acceptance/E2E tests in C#; contribute to integration test coverageExecute Manual Testing :
Perform exploratory testing, complex scenario validation, and release test passesTest Databases :
Validate data integrity acrossSQLite and SQL Server Test Services :
Verify WCF service endpoints and client-server communicationCollaborate :
Work closely with developers, product management, and stakeholdersTechnical Expertise:
Stack :
C# / .NET Framework 4.8, WPF, WCF servicesDatabases :
SQLite, Microsoft SQL Server Tools :
Azure DevOps, Git, Claude, Ranorex Domain :
Medical device software (FDA/IEC 62304 regulated) Education /Experience:
Required - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field 3-7 years in software testing, SDET, or software development roles Strong C# proficiency with hands-on automation experience Experience building automated test suites (E2E, integration, or similar) Database testing experience (SQL queries, data validation) Strong communication skills and ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships Self-directed with a proactive approach to quality Preferred - Medical device or regulated industry experience Mentorship experience WPF, SQLite, SQL, or client-server architecture experience Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Copilot) Physical Requirements /Working Conditions:
