Job Description

About the job Pharmapace welcomes qualified and motivated candidates to apply for the Statistician position. Pharmapace is a fast growing and specialized consulting/outsourcing company serving the biotech and pharmaceutical companies in their clinical development programs. The primary responsibilities of this position are to assist with study level statistical related activities, particularly to write statistical analysis plans, prepare mock tables/figures/listings, and generate statistical analyses for clinical studies conducted by pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Key Responsibilities Review study protocols and assist with protocol preparation Assist with sample size and power calculation Assist with randomization schedule generation Review case report forms to ensure appropriate data collection Participate in study team operations and timeline discussion Identify issues, and provide solutions to clinical operation and data management for issues that potentially impact data analyses Prepare statistical analysis plans Prepare mock tables, figures, and listings Review programming specifications and work with statistical programmers to prepare CDISC compliant SDTM and ADaM datasets Conduct inferential statistical analyses and check model adequacy of statistical analyses Perform statistical validation/quality control on analyses generated by statistical programmers Write statistical reports and provide statistical interpretation for study report preparation Work with medical writers to assist with clinical study reports preparation Work with project managers to ensure timely and high quality delivery of analysis packages Interact with client companies
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Statistics, Biostatistics or Epidemiology Skills Excellent understanding of statistical concepts and methods Working knowledge of SAS and/or R Highly motivated. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Compensation Range:
