To develop detailed selection evaluation criteria. To analyze and re-engineer business processes using industry standard tools and methods with understanding of the technical and business environments. To partner with business process experts to learn and understand problems with software. To develop innovative IT solutions for risky and demanding business situations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Working knowledge of ZOS IBM Mainframe Infrastructure. Working knowledge of Job Scheduling products for IBM Mainframes. Verify multi-tiered architectures work as designed in WebSphere space. Test and implement upgrades and patches. Plan and perform Mainframe QA audits. Configure and test production environments. Assist with the daily, weekly, and yearly support of core Cerner EMR. Maintain and troubleshoot Cerner EMR related issues. Working knowledge and experience with various Cerner EMR applications and how they function. Knowledge of Information Technology OS such as Linux, AIX, or ZOS. Ability to work on-call 24/7 support. Participate and assist with new system builds, planning, and migrations. Perform other duties as assigned or needed. Qualifications Associate's degree in Information Systems or a related field and six (6) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY
(KSAs) Assist in the production and maintaining of documentation Assist in the production and maintaining of DR related documentation Good analytical, debugging skills, and knowledge of the Core software/applications. Basic Cerner application skills Basic IT skills Linux, AIX, or ZOS Ability to learn and apply new technical knowledge quickly. Good interpersonal skills o Self-Starter o Work independently and as a member of a team. o Deliver customer support both in-person and over the phone in a professional manner. o Maintain cooperative work relationships and ability to demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse population.
