Job Description

WMS (Warehouse Management System) Manager oversees the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of warehouse software systems. They act as a bridge between IT and operations, focusing on maximizing inventory accuracy, improving workflow efficiency, troubleshooting system issues, and leading vendor relationships. Core Responsibilities Lead the deployment and configuration of the new WMS & LMS, replacing the current legacy systems across multiple locations. Ensure successful integration with existing systems and infrastructure. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Plan, coordinate, and execute WMS-related IT projects. Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and manage budgets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. Liaise with WMS vendors and service providers to ensure timely support and service delivery. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships. Identify areas for improvement within the WMS to enhance operational efficiency. Provide technical support and training to end-users. Develop and maintain system documentation, including user manuals and SOPs. Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals and analysts. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment. Key Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, and inventory management processes preferred. 5 years or more of management experience. 5 Years or more of exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, and inventory management processes preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Hands-on experience with top-tier WMS applications Managed the requirements, design, build, and testing (Integration, System, End-to-End, Performance, and User Acceptance) for WMS Projects Strong technical knowledge of WMS software and related technologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency in SQL, database management, and scripting languages. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks Extensive technical expertise - strong working knowledge of SQL Server, Windows Server, networking, and printing solutions. Experience with SQL Server reporting tools or equivalent tools. Strong end-to-end knowledge of warehousing operations.
