Job Description:

HealthRules Configuration Analyst (Contract) Sacramento, CA We're looking for an experienced HealthRules Configuration Analyst to support commercial group health plan configurations and provide technical leadership. Responsibilities Configure HealthRules for commercial group products (benefits, accumulators, pricing, provider contracts, claims rules) Manage and prioritize configuration backlog (defects, enhancements, renewals) Serve as primary intake for business and operations requests Coordinate configuration handoffs and testing with offshore QA teams Review configurations and provide technical guidance to analysts Ensure alignment with business requirements and testing standards Deliver weekly status reports to clients Support operational stability (~20% lead role, 80% hands-on) Required Qualifications 7+ years of HealthRules Payer configuration experience 3+ years supporting commercial group plans (deductibles, OOP max, accumulators, tiered benefits) Expert-level skills in: HealthRules Designer HealthRules Manager HealthRules Language (HRL) Experience as a configuration or technical lead Strong understanding of end-to-end claims processing Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills Preferred Provider network and pricing configuration experience Annual renewal/readiness cycle support Offshore QA collaboration experience Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
