Junior Systems Analyst

Position Summary The Jr. System Analyst is responsible for analyzing requirements and developing computer programs to meet organizational needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Consults with users to gather detailed information about program needs, issues, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements. Analyzes requirements and develops computer programs by performing the following duties: Consults with user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs. Writes and maintains documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections. Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about programs. Designs and codes screen layouts, graphical user interfaces, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems to ensure effective user interaction and data exchange. Trains end-user to use programs. Converts designs and specifications into functional computer code that meets defined requirements. Monitors performance of programs after implementation. Review current process flows in manufacturing and distribution process for areas of process improvement, efficiencies, or automation. Analyzes, defines, and documents requirements related to data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environments, as well as interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs. Writes and maintains up-to-date technical specifications for programs and systems. Does not move programs into production or update production data unless of an emergency and with the approval of the VP of IT. Assist with IT purchase requisitions and managing the purchase order logs, vendor logs, and contract logs. Provides updates on IT purchase order receipts and invoices along with quotes, reminders on renewals and IT contract agreements. As appropriate, assists users with data uploads in situations where users cannot perform such tasks. Support the Helpdesk line and inquires.

Pay:

$70,000.00
