Overview Headquartered in Washington, D.C., Banyan Global is an international development consulting firm with expertise in economic growth, infrastructure development, and international trade and investment. Banyan Global is recruiting an analyst for the upcoming USTDA Latin America and the
Caribbean:
Digital Infrastructure Project Scoping Services. The Analyst will provide support the identification, assessment, and development of potential USTDA-funded activities such as feasibility studies, technical assistance, and pilot projects in priority digital infrastructure sectors. This assignment will support USTDA's mission to advance overseas infrastructure projects that create opportunities for U.S. exports and promote secure, trusted, and interoperable digital infrastructure. Responsibilities Support the review and assessment of proposed digital infrastructure projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. Conduct background research on digital infrastructure markets, regulatory frameworks, and competitive landscape in Latin America and the Caribbean Perform financial and economic analysis Support U.S. export and market assessments Assist in evaluating sponsor capacity and project risks, including environmental, regulatory, and infrastructure considerations. Work with the Team Leader to draft Project Assessments, Project Reports and the Final Report sections, budget documentation, and supporting annexes. Coordinate stakeholder engagement and logistics, including meetings with project sponsors, U.S. companies, and relevant government entities. Qualifications Required Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in digital infrastructure, infrastructure, development finance, trade analysis, or project evaluation experience supporting feasibility studies, technical assistance, or project preparation activities Experience conducting market and regulatory research Strong writing and documentation skills in English Professional proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese Preferred Experience in Latin America and Caribbean Familiarity with MDB, DFC, Ex-Im, or commercial infrastructure financing
