Job Description

Elevate Technology Solutions is currently seeking an Systems Analyst I to support the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Division of Examinations (EXAMS), Centralized Analytics Processing Support (CAPS) program. Position Summary The Systems Analyst I will support the SEC Division of Examinations' data and analytics initiatives. This position will assist with data preparation, quality checks, documentation, testing, and reporting while working closely with Senior Analysts and other technical team members. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional interested in developing skills in data analytics, business systems analysis, and federal technology. The position provides mentoring, cross-training, and progressively more complex assignments as technical skills and experience develop. Key Responsibilities Support data preparation, validation, and quality-control activities under the guidance of Senior Analysts and technical team members. Assist with data profiling, cleansing, formatting, and identification of data-quality issues and exceptions. Support documentation, testing, and reporting associated with analytics and data-cleansing activities. Maintain repositories, logs, and records associated with data-quality findings, analytical activities, and script execution. Assist with structured analytical activities, including formatting checks, exception identification, data preparation, and validation. Participate in testing and validation of analytical solutions and process improvements. Work with Senior Analysts and other team members to resolve data-quality and analytical issues. Required Qualifications U.S. citizenship required; candidates may not hold dual citizenship. Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust determination under a Tier 4 background investigation. Bachelor's degree in a technical, analytical, business, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Basic proficiency with Python, SQL, R, VBA, or a similar data-analysis technology, or demonstrated aptitude and willingness to develop these skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a remote, team-oriented environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Coursework, internship, or professional experience involving data analytics, computer science, information systems, business analytics, or a related field. Exposure to data profiling, cleansing, validation, or quality-control activities. Experience includes SEC/FINRA, financial services, securities markets, compliance, AML/KYC, due diligence or regulatory research Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and/or Power BI. Exposure to Python, SQL, R, VBA, or similar analytical technologies. Interest in developing a long-term career in federal data analytics, business systems analysis, or technology consulting. This is a remote, computer-based position utilizing SEC-approved devices, systems, and collaboration platforms. The position requires regular interaction with technical team members and participation in virtual meetings. Occasional on-site support may be required.
