Job Summary The Asset Analyst is responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of IT hardware assets, including procurement, inventory management, deployment, refresh, and disposal. This role partners closely with Infrastructure and End User Services teams to ensure accurate asset tracking, timely fulfillment of requests, and effective lifecycle and cost management. Key Responsibilities Receive, review, and process all hardware procurement requests, including endpoints, monitors, peripherals, headsets, and related equipment. Track asset and procurement requests end to end, providing clear communication on timelines, expectations, and status updates to customers and stakeholders. Maintain accurate inventory records for both local and remote hardware assets, including desktops, laptops, peripherals, and other IT equipment. Manage the full hardware asset lifecycle, including acquisition, receiving, deployment, maintenance, refresh, disposal, and retirement. Maintain hardware asset data within IT asset management and ITSM tools, ensuring accuracy and data integrity; generate reports as needed. Partner with Infrastructure and End User Services teams to coordinate asset lifecycle activities and monitor vendor performance, including delivery timelines, quality, and warranty support. Continuously review procurement and asset management processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, standardization, and stronger controls. Coordinate and manage hardware disposal requests in compliance with company policies and procedures. Identify opportunities to optimize hardware spend through reuse strategies, refresh planning, lifecycle alignment, and vendor consolidation. Support leadership inquiries and participate in ad hoc asset-related initiatives as required.
