JOB DESCRIPTION
The TM Systems & Automation Analyst is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing automated Human Resources processes and systems that support the full employee lifecycle. Reporting to the Senior Director of Talent Management, this role serves as a technical and functional expert in HR technology, workflow automation, workforce planning analytics, talent acquisition systems, talent development platforms, and learning management systems (LMS). The Talent Data & Analytics Specialist serves as a liaison between the talent management team and teams across UF Advancement to identify data and insights that help inform our talent strategies. This role will require strong project management skills and analytical capabilities to provide data-driven recommendations. Process Automation & Systems Design Design, build, and maintain automated HR systems across recruitment, onboarding, performance management, talent development, and offboarding. Configure and optimize Human Resources Management System (HRMS), Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Learning Management System (LMS), and related platforms to reduce manual processes and increase operational efficiency. Develop automated notifications, approval workflows, forms, and integrations to streamline HR transactions. Identify process inefficiencies and implement technology-driven solutions to improve cycle times and accuracy. Manage and maintain TM databases using platforms such as Replit, where applicable. Collaborate with the Talent Management team to maintain HR systems, ensure evolving needs are met, and provide user training to support effective system adoption. Talent Development & LMS Management Administer and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS), including course automation, user assignments, compliance tracking, and reporting. Build automated talent development tracking tools for certifications, training completions, and leadership programs. Develop dashboards measuring training effectiveness and organizational capability growth. Support succession planning and career pathing systems through automated data tracking. Workforce Planning & Analytics Develop workforce planning models, forecasting tools, and headcount tracking dashboards. Automate recurring workforce analytics reports (e.g., headcount, turnover, vacancy rates, succession readiness). Build predictive analytics models to support talent forecasting and succession planning. Partner with Senior Director of Talent Management to align workforce data insights with strategic staffing needs. Talent Acquisition Systems & Optimization Manage and optimize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), including workflow configuration and automation. Develop recruitment funnel dashboards and automated reporting. Ensure seamless data integration between ATS, HRIS, background check systems, and onboarding platforms. Automate candidate communication, compliance tracking, and hiring approvals. Organizational Development & Data Strategy Maintain organizational structure data and automate org chart updates and reporting. Support organizational design initiatives through workforce modeling tools. Develop analytics supporting engagement, performance, and change management initiatives. Maintain HR data governance standards and documentation and audit readiness. HR Database Management & Integration Ensure integrity, accuracy, and security of TM databases across systems. Develop and maintain integrations between HRMS, payroll, LMS, ATS, LinkedIn, and other enterprise platforms. Perform system audits, data validation, and troubleshooting. Support system upgrades, enhancements, and user acceptance testing. Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives.
EXPECTED SALARY
$65,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.
PREFERRED
A bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Management, Statistics, Data Science, or related field. Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) platforms (e.g., Workday, etc.) Advanced skills in automation, integrations, or scripting tools (e.g., Replit, API integrations, low‑code platforms). Experience designing workforce planning tools, predictive analytics, or talent metrics. Familiarity with organizational development concepts, talent management practices, and HR compliance standards. Experience using Replit for prototyping analytics workflows, building lightweight data applications, or collaborating on Python/SQL-based analysis. Demonstrated ability to analyze data, build reports/dashboards, and translate findings into actionable applications. Proficiency with workflow automation tools, data visualization platforms and spreadsheet/database applications. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, service‑oriented environment. Knowledge of ethical and best practices of profession.
