Job Description

The Senior Systems Analyst must possess strong knowledge of accounting systems, financial reconciliations, and enterprise data environments. This role requires exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to develop innovative, out-of-the-box solutions to complex business challenges. The ideal candidate demonstrates agility in navigating rapid organizational and technological change, serves as a strong communicator and leader, and effectively advocates for business partner needs while driving system enhancements, process improvements, and operational excellence. Familiarity with NFCU core systems, financial data flows, and business processes impacting the TDP organization is highly desirable. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or the equivalent combination of education, training or experience 5+ years of experience in systems analysis or IT/business support Complete knowledge and understanding of business area/specialization Advanced understanding of systems analysis and project management methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent and effective written, verbal, and quantitative communication skills. Leads system analysis projects with minimal guidance. Leads system testing processes and leads improvement initiatives. Strong ability to build positive working relationships and cross-function collaboration. Desired Qualifications Strong understanding of accounting systems, financial reconciliations, and financial controls, including the movement of data across systems and its impact on downstream financial processes. Demonstrated knowledge of NFCU core systems, applications, and data sources supporting Finance, Transaction and Document Processing TDP, and related operational functions. Proven ability to analyze complex business and system challenges, identify root causes, and develop innovative solutions that improve efficiency, control effectiveness, and business outcomes. Naturally curious and driven to challenge traditional approaches by exploring new technologies, alternative methodologies, and creative problem-solving techniques. Ability to successfully navigate rapidly changing priorities, evolving business requirements, and organizational transformation initiatives while maintaining focus on key deliverables. Strong leadership and influence skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams, build consensus, and drive initiatives from concept through implementation. Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts into business-focused recommendations for stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated commitment to understanding and advocating for business partner needs while balancing operational requirements, risk considerations, and strategic objectives. Ability to serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, fostering collaboration across Finance, Technology, TDP, and business units to deliver sustainable solutions.
