Requirements Responsibilities The Student Worker provides administrative, organizational, project, and day-to-day operational support for the department of Academic Affairs. This position requires good communication and organizational skills, proficient computer skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively on a variety of projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicate professionally with students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders through email, phone, virtual platforms, and in-person interactions. Administrative duties associated with Academic Affairs (copying, scanning, filing, sorting, etc.). (Professionalism, Technology) Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing departmental projects and special initiatives. (Teamwork, Leadership, Critical Thinking) Track project timelines, update status reports, and support project deliverables as assigned. (Teamwork, Communication, Professionalism) Support student retention efforts by assisting with outreach campaigns, follow-up communications, student engagement activities, and resource referrals. (Communication, Critical Thinking, Technology) Monitor and update databases, spreadsheets, and tracking systems to ensure data accuracy. (Professionalism and Technology) Work independently to prioritize assignments, manage deadlines, and complete tasks with minimal supervision. (Professionalism) Maintain confidentiality of student and departmental information in accordance with institutional policies. (Professionalism) Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Qualifications:
Current USF student in good standing. Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Good communication skills, both written and oral. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
