JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a WMS Operations Analyst for one of their top clients in the McCook, IL area. This role serves as the primary point of contact between warehouse operations, customers, and IT for all Warehouse Management System (WMS)-related needs. The position provides Level 1 WMS support by analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues, escalating to IT when necessary, and configuring the WMS to align with operational workflows and business requirements. Responsibilities include documenting system issues and change requests, supporting system testing, validation, and go-live activities for new implementations or upgrades, and maintaining accurate system, process, and training documentation. The role also supports training and onboarding of warehouse staff, participates in cross-functional initiatives to optimize WMS performance, and ensures adherence to system best practices and standard operating procedures. A working knowledge of warehouse IT hardware such as RF devices, vehicle mounts, printers, and workstations is required. This position is based on-site in a warehouse environment and requires the ability to move throughout the facility, lift up to 25-35 pounds, and spend extended periods at a computer workstation.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 2-4

years of experience as a WMS Operations Analyst (Manhattan, Blue Yonder, High Jump etc.) Experience with training and onboarding of new hires and provide ongoing WMS training to warehouse teams Configure and maintain the WMS to support operational workflows and business requirements Provide Level 1 WMS support, including analyzing, troubleshooting, resolving system issues, and escalating to IT Support as needed Ability to work on-site in a warehouse environment
