Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manages and maintains effective communication with Engineering team members to understand individual support requirements.
- Develops diverse product knowledge.
- Drives improvements based on end user experience.
- Reviews, analyzes, and releases change requests to drawings.
- Reviews, analyzes, and releases deviations/waivers.
- Applies knowledge from Engineering and Government Standards and becomes first point of contact for configuration management concerns.
- May work with engineers on details and implications of test procedures and results.
- May work with engineers to release procedures for testing systems and equipment.
- Analyzes, maintains, compiles and formats data and design changes.
- Reviews drawings, reports, and engineering documentation.
Job Requirements Qualifications/Experience Needed:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with configuration management processes, and practices.
- Experience with design in highly regulated industry.
- Interfering with internal customer in discussions involving configuration controls.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in the Engineering Change Process, drawing changes, and engineering bill of materials.
- Experience with
SAP, PLM
systems (Team Center).- Ability to gather information, facilitate and coordinate activities.
- Possess problem solving and solution skills.
- Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, and SharePoint experience.
