Listed within this posting is the anticipated salary range for this position, plus variable incentive compensation. THE OPPORTUNITY
This position is for students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing career opportunities in Information Technology (IT) over the summer of 2027. The IT Intern will be part of the application development group, will work with project teams to develop and improve user experience, and will provide real world contributions to the department. The IT intern will configure third party software, develop and modify custom in-house software, query databases, and work within scrum teams.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Configure third-party and low-code platforms, including GhostDraft, Sapiens PolicyPro, and Origami Risk, according to business requirements Develop and maintain software solutions using C#, .NET, and React Write SQL Server queries to retrieve, analyze, and validate data Collaborate with developers, analysts, testers, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions Perform other duties or special projects as assigned by a supervisor
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
High school diploma or equivalent required Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university preferably in an information technology related field of study such as computer science, information science, computer engineering, or software engineering Completion of coursework in software development, databases, or related technical areas
WHO YOU ARE
Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance Demonstrate understanding of fundamental Computer Science principles such as conditionals, loops, algorithms, data structures, and event-driven programming. Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts and modern software development practices Experience through coursework, personal projects, or internships using technologies such as C#, .NET, React, or similar frameworks Basic understanding of relational databases, database design, and SQL Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira is a plus Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills
