Currently, we are seeking a Configuration Management Analyst - Junior to Journeyman to provide future support to our Navy client in Lexington Park, MD. This role requires an Active SECRET clearance.
TYPICAL DUTIES INCLUDE
Develop Configuration Management (CM) plans and procedures. Establish and maintain CM baselines, including functional baselines, allocated baselines, and product baselines. Perform a full range of Configuration Management activities, including configuration identification, control, status reporting/accounting, and audits. Develop and maintain Configuration Management documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflow illustrations, and documented processes used to review, approve, document, catalogue, and control changes. Lead or support Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) across multiple environments, including Cloud, On-Premises, and Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) environments. Lead or support Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs). Conduct trade studies and provide recommendations for Configuration Management tools and capabilities as required. Provide timely and accurate status reporting to program management and engineering teams.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience. Experience performing Configuration Management and Product Lifecycle Management activities. Experience supporting Configuration Control Board (CCB) and Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) processes. Experience using Configuration Management and/or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools, such as CMPro. Strong problem-solving, organizational, written communication, and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently while performing effectively within a collaborative team environment. Knowledge of the operation and administration of Configuration Management systems. Familiarity with Configuration Management Databases (CMDBs) used to track Configuration Items (CIs). Familiarity with ServiceNow Assistance Portal (SNAP). Familiarity with SharePoint Online. Strong understanding of Configuration Management concepts, processes, and supporting systems, including SharePoint, Git, CMDBs, and related technologies. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and related productivity tools. Ability to process and assist with the preparation, delivery, storage, tracking, and control of contractual CDRLs. Knowledge of current industry trends, best practices, and developments within Configuration Management, with a willingness to learn and implement emerging cloud-based CM and technical writing systems and capabilities. Understanding of cloud technologies and environments, including AWS, Azure, and DoD Impact Levels IL2, IL4, IL5, and IL6. Understanding of applicable technical and cybersecurity guidance, including FedRAMP, NIST, FIPS, DoD, SCCA, and SRG requirements. Experience working with Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree preferred.

Secret clearance. Must be a US Citizen.
