Job Description

Land Mobile Radio Specialist - DoD Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for a Land Mobile Radio Specialist at our client's project in Warren, MI. This is a direct hire opportunity with competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities:
Support Motorola
ASTRO 25
SmartZone Release 7.14 trunked system. Program and run emergency talk group reassignment and mutual aid talk groups when required. Process parts orders. Run parts inventory reports. Run stock subscriber reports. Schedule subscriber technical issues (batteries, Antenna, remote mic and malfunction issues). Schedule subscriber vehicle installation. Provide touch labor Provide Land Mobile Radio (LMR) programming and perform regular software maintenance, including patching and upgrades. Update software to ensure compatibility, security, and optimal performance, as well as applying patches to address known issues and vulnerabilities.
Provide Tier II and Tier III Qualifications:
3+ years' experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline preferred or have equivalent experience Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines Capable of conveying complex information in a simplistic manner Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision Able to take proactive measures to prevent problems rather than reactive by nature Strong verbal and written communication skills Position requires a Secret security clearance.
