Job Description:
Position Description Performs Configuration Management (CM) activities supporting the design, development, and production of complex systems and equipment for U.S. government customers. Ensures CM processes are implemented according to the program Configuration Management Plan and customer requirements. Coordinates engineering documentation, drawings, production specifications, schedules, contract modifications, and technical data packages. Processes and controls changes to CAD models, engineering drawings, software, part data, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) within enterprise PDM systems. Maintains CM logs, drawing assignments, variance tracking, configuration status accounting, production baselines, and CM metrics. Facilitates Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and maintains meeting records and configuration documentation. Supports ISO, CMMI, DCMA, quality, and corporate audits while working with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customer teams. Skills Required Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint . Configuration Management processes and documentation. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet challenging deadlines. Ability to analyze engineering/product changes and determine impacts. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building skills. Education Required Associate's degree with 4 years of experience in Configuration Management or a relevant discipline.
