System Administrator supports and maintains MMCAP's analytics and reporting systems by managing daily operations, system configuration, data processes, and user access. This position coordinates system upgrades, ensures data accuracy and report reliability, and develops core and ad-hoc reports for MMCAP leadership and members. It serves as a subject matter expert on system functionality and data integrity, provides technical guidance to team members, and conducts analysis to support business needs and continuous improvement efforts, enhancing both operational efficiency and the customer experience. This position is eligible for up to a 50% hybrid telework arrangement. With a telework arrangement, additional onsite attendance may be required for team meetings or as requested by management to meet business needs. In addition, this position will need to be readily available to provide front desk back-up coverage during staff member absence with little advance notice. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Three (3) years of experience using business intelligence (BI) such as Tableau or Power BI.Experience must include:
Using SQL to query and troubleshoot data Managing system security and user roles Working within state or federal data-governance requirements Resolving BI system issues A Bachelor's Degree in computer science/management information science, business data analytics, business, or a closely related field of study may be substituted for one (1) year of experience as described. Applicants who meet the above will be further assessed with the following criteria: Skill in analyzing business or industry information and translating it into practical solutions or alternatives that support operational needs. Skill in creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that make complex information easy to understand for users, leadership, and partner organizations. Skill in maintaining system integrity, including planning and coordinating system updates or upgrades, troubleshooting issues, and conducting system testing with an end user solution orientated approach. Human relations and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical or analytical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects independently, meet deadlines, adapt to changes, and communicate progress clearly to others. Ability to translate business needs into clear reporting or system requirements and work effectively with IT partners to resolve system issues and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Preferred Qualifications Background or knowledge of healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) industry. Knowledge of GPO laws, regulations, pricing practices, and contract negotiation processes. Experience in system testing (functional, regression, and user acceptance). Experience analyzing customer or member usage data to support process improvement and enhance the customer experience. Demonstrated ability to develop clear documentation, user guides, or training materials for reports and analytics tools.
