About This Role The Workday Grants Subject Matter Expert (SME) will support an RGP healthcare provider client by evaluating and optimizing the organization's use of Workday Grants functionality. This role serves as a functional expert and advisor, ensuring Workday is effectively configured and leveraged to support grant management, compliance, and reporting requirements in a healthcare provider environment. The SME will work closely with business users and leadership to understand current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and align system capabilities with operational and regulatory needs. What You Will Work On Evaluate the current Workday Grants configuration and day-to-day usage to assess effectiveness, compliance, and alignment with healthcare provider grant management needs Engage directly with end users, finance teams, grants administration, and other stakeholders to gather detailed process and system information Facilitate discovery conversations and workshops to clearly document current-state processes, pain points, and future-state needs Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and underutilized Workday functionality related to grant setup, tracking, billing, reporting, and compliance Recommend configuration changes, process improvements, and best-practice approaches tailored to a healthcare provider environment Partner with cross-functional teams to validate requirements, support testing, and ensure solutions meet business and regulatory expectations Provide clear guidance, documentation, and knowledge transfer to users and project stakeholders Support change management and adoption through effective communication and user enablement What You Will Bring Strong functional expertise in Workday Grants, including configuration, grant lifecycle management, and reporting Experience supporting grant management within healthcare provider organizations, including awareness of compliance and audit considerations Proven ability to easily seek out, gather, and synthesize both process and system information from end users Analytical and consultative mindset with a track record of identifying practical, value-driven improvement opportunities Ability to translate complex business and compliance requirements into clear, effective Workday solutions What You Can Expect An inspirational place for you to do your best work, be engaged in meaningful ways, and continually develop the skills, competencies and qualities that set our team apart.
