Position Summary:
The Information Technology Intern is responsible for supporting the deployment and configuration of desktop computers, laptops, iPhones, iPads, and other technology equipment. This role assists with maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking IT assets, and coordinating the physical installation and deployment of hardware. The intern will gain hands-on experience in end-user support, asset management, and day-to-day IT operations while contributing to the efficiency and reliability of technology services throughout the organization
Background:
Enrollment in certification or technical program desired. This position requires the individual to handle multiple priorities efficiently and effectively, using analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Duties:
Install and configure workstations, notebooks and smart phones. Maintain inventory records. Provide end user support as required. Troubleshoots and maintains hardware and software on a preventative as well as a corrective basis. Effective problem analysis and resolution skills. Strong customer service orientation; high energy level. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with a wide cross section of individuals.
