Information Systems Analyst

Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to leadership and support in maintaining and enhancing our JDE operating system. This position reports to the Director of IT.

Essential Functions:

• Keep abreast of new JDE releases and applications and present opportunities for improvement to the business.
• Provide application thought leadership and day-to-day analysis on project work, system enhancements, and end-user support.
• Provide training and technical support to users and deploy new systems and enhancements.
• Collaborate with team members on new development efforts and create supporting documentation and functional specifications.
• Analyze, design, and write functional specifications based on business requirements.
• Ensure alignment between both business and technical teams to drive effective, timely solutions that fulfill both strategic and operational needs.
• Ensure Data Integrity is maintained in the application suites.
• Responsible for extracting information from JDE for reporting purposes.
• Influence internal stakeholders to achieve the desired outcomes, including process improvement.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Regularly help in the day-to-day resolution of business/system/user issues.
• Effectively communicate current activities, status, and issues to stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain close working relationships with internal and external contacts including project managers, staff, suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Required Physical and Environmental Demands:

Sit for prolonged periods of time. Work and move among departments. Excellent hand/eye coordination. Lift up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity to operate personal computers and standard office equipment. Transfer information from paper to computer, from computer to computer, and to communicate in person and on the telephone. Education, Experience, and Skills Required Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science or a related field. 3 to 5 years of industry or business analysis experience. 2+ years' Experience with JDE E1 - 9.10 and above. Professional certification, such as CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP. Knowledge of networking services and common networking protocols. Computer proficiency and understanding of various types of hardware. Project management skills. Knowledge of networking services and common network protocols. Hands-on experience working with computer networks, preferably in a position such as a help desk technician or junior network administrator. Resourceful and well-organized. Pay:

$95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
