II - APP L2 MCSG

JOB SUMMARY

MCSG is seeking a Functional Analyst II to serve as the primary functional resource for diagnosing, researching, and resolving system issues related to the CASTLE Time and Attendance (T&A) software application. This position will provide functional help desk support for the FAA's Time Collection System, ensuring timely resolution of complex functional issues that cannot be resolved by the Tier 1 Service Desk. Customers supported include the Aeronautical Center, Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Transportation, and various other governmental agencies and departments.

This position is located at the DOT/FAA Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, OK.

PRIMARY DUTIES

Provide functional help desk support for issues escalated from the Tier 1 Service Desk, ensuring timely resolution of complex functional issues.

Troubleshoot help desk tickets independently and/or under general direction using system documentation standards and electronic communication through the system change request process.

Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex functional issues related to time and attendance, leave administration, premium pay, labor distribution, telework, and work schedules.

Continuously assess and evaluate systems to identify weaknesses and vulnerabilities and provide recommended corrective actions to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).

Provide CASTLE functional support, including planning, requirements analysis, report design, development, modification, and maintenance of reports.

Provide software development and support based on requirements as needed.

Perform testing, coordinate user acceptance testing, and conduct functionality validation testing against agency policies, federal regulations, and business requirements.

Work closely with technical and functional team members to assist users by providing CASTLE support.

Maintain documentation of issue resolution, lessons learned, and knowledge transfer materials to ensure continuity of operations.

Participate in and conduct structured project reviews, walkthroughs, and team meetings.

Provide management with status updates regarding projects, problems, and other outstanding project-related issues.

Perform work in accordance with established FAA standards and procedures, including applicable ISO requirements.

Analyze problem areas and develop feasible solutions for large-scale, complex systems.

Carry out tasks as directed by contract leadership required to ensure mission success.

Ensure all programs, input, output, and documentation associated with this task are maintained as the sole property of the government.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience providing functional help desk support for complex software applications.

Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex functional issues related to time and attendance, leave administration, premium pay, labor distribution, telework, and/or work schedules.

Experience analyzing system issues, identifying weaknesses and vulnerabilities, and recommending corrective actions.

Experience with requirements analysis, report design, development, modification, and maintenance.

Experience performing software testing, user acceptance testing, and functionality validation testing.

Experience analyzing problems and developing feasible solutions for large-scale, complex systems

Ability to maintain detailed documentation of issue resolutions, lessons learned, and knowledge transfer materials.

Experience working in an environment requiring adherence to established standards, procedures, and ISO requirements.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

3 years of related experience.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

SECURITY CLEARANCE

Public Trust. Must have the ability to obtain a low-level security clearance. Must have lived in the United States for at least 3 of the last 5 years. Qualifications
