About The Company:

Our client is an established organization in the energy industry that depends on enterprise technology and business applications to support critical operational functions. This position will work closely with technical teams, business users, and application vendors to maintain reliable production systems and resolve day-to-day technology issues. We are looking for a Systems Analyst to provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for business-critical applications. This individual will troubleshoot production issues, investigate application and data problems, assist users, and coordinate more complex issues with internal technical teams and third-party vendors. The ideal candidate will bring experience with enterprise applications, SQL databases, reporting platforms, integrations, and systems used within production or field operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 application support , resolving day-to-day technical issues and escalating more complex problems when appropriate. Troubleshoot and support applications including IFS/P2 ProCount and Field Operator . Investigate application and data issues across systems such as ProCount, eVIN, Cygnet, Carte, WellView, SAP , and related enterprise applications. Assist with reporting and analytics using ProCount reporting layers, Power BI, Spotfire, SSRS, Crystal Reports , or comparable technologies. Use SQL Server and/or Oracle to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and support application troubleshooting. Support business processes involving production volumes, allocation, measurement, completions, meters, tanks, field operations, and hydrocarbon accounting . Troubleshoot issues related to integrations, interfaces, scheduled jobs, automated processes, and data pipelines . Work with developers, infrastructure teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to research and resolve application issues. Assist with application upgrades, system enhancements, testing, and production deployments. Develop and maintain runbooks, knowledge-base articles, troubleshooting documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures . Track recurring issues and help identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, and support processes. Document incidents, resolutions, workarounds, and escalation procedures to improve future support efforts.

Qualifications :

Experience in Systems Analysis, Application Support, Production Support, or a related IT role . Experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environment. Experience with one or more of the following applications or platforms: ProCount, eVIN, Cygnet, Carte, WellView, SAP, Field Operator , or similar systems. Knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle . Experience with Power BI, Spotfire, SSRS, Crystal Reports , or other reporting and analytics platforms. Understanding of application integrations, interfaces, scheduled jobs, or data pipelines. Familiarity with production, field operations, measurement, allocation, or accounting processes is preferred. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate technical information effectively with both technical and non-technical users. Strong documentation and organizational skills. Experience collaborating with internal teams and third-party vendors.

Additional Details:

Experience in the oil and gas or energy industry is preferred. Candidates with backgrounds in production systems, field operations technology, enterprise application support, production accounting, reporting, or data analysis are encouraged to apply. Experience with ProCount and related reporting environments is particularly valuable for this position.
