Job Description
Participate in most aspects of software enhancement primarily for packaged applications, including configuration, testing, deployment and maintenance activities. Education Requirements Preferred Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain, or equivalent combination of education and experience. In addition to education, this role typically calls for two to four years of relevant professional experience; (Minimum of one-year relevant experience is required). Experience Minimum of 1.5 year of experience supporting, troubleshooting, configuring, or developing integrations, enterprise applications, automation processes, reporting solutions, or cloud-enabled applications. Experience using API, integration, or middleware platforms to build, configure, test, monitor, troubleshoot, or support integrations between enterprise systems is preferred. Experience with enterprise applications like ERP systems, workforce management solutions, legal or business process platforms, supply chain applications, vendor-managed SaaS solutions, or similar systems is preferred. Experience with cloud infrastructure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), cloud APIs, or cloud-based integration services is preferred. Working knowledge of API and integration concepts, including development, testing, troubleshooting, support, and deployment. Experience with REST or SOAP web services, authentication, authorization, secure data exchange, and common API security concepts. Experience reading, validating, mapping, or troubleshooting JSON and XML payloads. Ability to support monitoring, logging, error handling, data transformation, data mapping, and issue resolution with guidance on more complex problems. Working understanding of database concepts, relational data structures, SQL, and interface-related data mapping. Experience with development tools, scripting languages, or programming languages is preferred, including PowerShell, Java, JavaScript, .NET, C#, or comparable technologies. Familiarity with cloud APIs, identity and access concepts, cloud-based integration services, workforce management integrations, or ERP/HCM integration patterns is preferred. Ability to apply technical skills across multiple enterprise applications and business platforms. Working knowledge of SDLC, agile delivery methods, change control, and secure supportable integration practices. Familiarity with SFTP, networking basics, data security, and authentication models. Key Duties and Responsibilities Support assigned Corporate Applications systems that may include HCM, Payroll, timekeeping, Finance, Supply Chain, Legal, and other non-operations business areas for ONE Gas. Participate in API and integration work, including requirements analysis, configuration, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support. Help configure and support integrations, interfaces, automation workflows, reporting solutions, and data flows between internal and third-party applications. Gather and document business requirements to help identify system impacts, dependencies, and practical solution options. Troubleshoot assigned system issues, enhancement requests, data issues, and integration errors with stakeholders, including process owners, IT teams, vendors, and senior team members as needed. Maintain system documentation, configuration notes, data flow diagrams, support procedures, and training materials. Recommend practical improvements to APIs, automation, reusable integration patterns, support processes, and cloud-enabled capabilities. Follow established change control, security, design, governance, and compliance procedures. Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
