Job Description

Position Summary:
This position serves as the subject matter expert for Transportation Support Services (TSS), providing system enablement, process standards, training, and operational support to ensure consistent and effective use of FM across the organization. The role aggregates and standardizes training and process materials, develops and maintains training content and best practices, and ensures consistent delivery for new and existing associates. Additionally, the role translates end-user needs into clear process documentation and delivers data-driven insights to leadership to improve performance. Through these activities, the position drives operational consistency, user adoption, and continuous process improvement.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Act as the TSS Systems subject matter expert by owning training content, best practices, and process documentation. Develop and maintain training materials, job aids, SOPs, and process flows; coordinate in-person and virtual training for new hires and existing users; and ensure documentation and materials are updated to reflect system changes, enhancements, and evolving business practices.
  • Analyze data from existing reports and dashboards to identify operational trends, training gaps, and process improvement opportunities. Interpret results and provide insights and recommendations to leadership, while collaborating with reporting teams to suggest enhancements to standard reports that better support business needs.
  • Provide ongoing day-to-day operational support for TSS by serving as a primary point of contact for identified issues and performance gaps.
Use reporting and business feedback to investigate root causes, engage directly with stakeholders to understand current practices, and recommend operational improvements. Provide walk-up support and targeted training as needed, with effectiveness measured through performance metrics and reporting outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Logistics & Supply Chain Management preferred. If no degree, equivalent work experience is required.
  • 2-3 years minimum experience, specific to Transportation Management Systems and operational understanding of transportation platforms such as (but not limited to) Blue Yonder, Oracle, Mercury Gate, Fleet Manager and HorsePower preferred
  • PL Operational skills and Integration Flow understanding preferred
  • Capability to constantly reset priorities
  • Advanced problem-solving skills preferred
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills preferred
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
