- About the Role
- The Configuration Specialist is responsible for supporting and implementing new and existing customers that PSI serves, working with a Project Manager or Coordinator to determine the scope and needs of the project.
- Role Responsibilities
- + Configuration of PSI systems related to registration and exam delivery using front-end portals, custom tools, and system reports, ensuring accurate and alignment with specifications + Interface with the PMO (project management office) and Test Publishing teams to schedule and plan new implementations, exam updates and republications, and migration or retirement of examinations + Drive day-to-day configuration activities to complete each project + Ensure exams are configured accurately, on schedule, and in full alignment with client requirements.
- Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements
- + Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience + 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience with front-end configuration experience preferred + Experienced in troubleshooting applications and partnering with Quality Assurance and Development teams to resolve issues + Understanding of APIs, databases, ticketing and enterprise systems along with their relationship to other teams and the end user + Ability to translate business requirements into tasks within ticketing software such as Jira + Strong communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills with attention to detail + Comfortable learning and applying new technologies to enhance application usability and performance.
