Job Description
Overview Provides computer hardware and software installation and support to end users throughout the hospital system. Responsibilities 1. Provides technical support of hardware and software applications to end users throughout the hospital system. 2. Participates in project needs as directed by leadership. 3. Maintains and complies with inventory processes for Microsystems hardware used within the hospital and other facilities. 4. Utilizes Northside supported protocols for building and maintaining hardware within the organizational infrastructure. 5. Provides explanations and educational support to end-users following computer hardware and software support, including procurement and lifecycle. 6. Provides on-site and remote support as needed to users of the Northside locations within Georgia as geographically assigned. 7. Assists in departmental physical moves, additions, changes related to project needs of and computer systems and devices within the hospital and its remote locations. 8. Researches and resolves problems and questions regarding computer systems and software. 9. Adheres to all Microsystems-related policies and procedures and ensures compliance by end-users. 10. Produces daily, weekly, and monthly reports for departmental and related functions, routinely tests systems, and provides documentation for knowledge base and management education requests. 11. Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Immediately reports any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury-accident to the manager. Qualifications
