Apply Now We are seeking a Solution Architect - SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) to lead functional design and architecture efforts within a large-scale S/4HANA migration program. This individual will partner closely with Production, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions that drive operational excellence and compliance. This role blends hands-on SAP PP expertise, solution architecture, project delivery, and team leadership to support complex manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities Lead the functional design and architecture for
SAP S/4HANA
Production Planning, ensuring alignment with enterprise digital transformation strategy. Drive S/4HANA migration efforts, defining future-state production planning processes and translating them into scalable SAP solutions. Partner with business stakeholders and SMEs to gather, refine, and document requirements. Analyze current-state systems and implement optimized S/4HANA configurations. Configure and deliverSAP PP / PP-PI
solutions, ensuring scalability, stability, and best practice alignment. Troubleshoot configuration and integration issues, ensuring reliable system performance. Lead and support PRE-UAT and UAT, including test planning, defect resolution, and validation. Develop training materials and deliver end-user training to support adoption. Ensure seamless integration with QM, MM, EWM, and MES systems. Provide ongoing system support within the ERP service delivery model, ensuring compliance with SOX and FDA GMP. Maintain system documentation (SOPs, SOIs, job aids) and support change control processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Sigma programs. Lead and mentor team members, including work allocation, coaching, and performance management. Coordinate cross-functional efforts to remove roadblocks and keep projects on track. Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) / S/4HANA environments. Deep expertise in SAP PP and PP-PI, including configuration and master data. Strong integration experience with QM, MM, EWM, and MES systems. Experience in process and/or discrete manufacturing environments. Knowledge of MRP, MPS, capacity planning, batch management, and process orders. Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions. Experience leading teams and driving cross-functional collaboration. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Preferred Qualifications Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing (GMP-regulated environments). Knowledge of batch-based production and compliance requirements. Experience integrating SAP with external manufacturing and quality systems. Familiarity with Lean Sigma, Agile/Scrum, or ITIL frameworks. Work Environment Global, fast-paced, and highly regulated environment supporting manufacturing and supply chain operations. Hybrid model with ~3 days onsite for collaboration, training, and stakeholder engagement. Regular interaction with cross-functional and global teams. Travel may be required (domestic and occasional international). Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Exton, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $87.66 - $87.66/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
