Job Description

Piper Companies is seeking a Systems Analyst to support an award winning organization in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area. The Systems Analyst role is hybrid requiring 3 days onsite in the office. The Systems Analyst will play a key role in analyzing, optimizing, and enhancing critical insurance systems, with a strong focus on SQL-driven solutions and policy administration platforms. Responsibilities of the
Systems Analyst:
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical system specifications.
  • Support, enhance, and optimize insurance systems, with a focus on policy administration platforms.
  • Develop SQL queries, reports, and data extracts to support system analysis and operational needs.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, and QA to ensure effective system functionality and performance.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and identify long-term process and technology improvements.
  • Lead or participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and integration initiatives.
Qualifications of the
Systems Analyst:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst.
  • Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries.
  • Prior experience in the insurance industry.
Preferred:
Hands-on experience supporting or working with policy administration systems. Compensation for the Systems Analyst includes:
  • Salary range: $115,000 - $130,000 depending on experience
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
