Job Description

AIPSO is a management organization and service provider for various insurance industry groups responsible for administering the residual market. We are a national organization that serves local customer needs. Centralization and standardization are key to many AIPSO services because of the inherent economies of scale and other efficiencies. However, our organization is based on customer focus and recognizes the need for flexibility in serving customer groups with diverse interests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze business processes and system functionality to gather, document, and validate requirements. Work with business users and stakeholders to identify needs, evaluate solutions, and assess business impact. Create and maintain requirements, process flows, functional specifications, test plans, and related documentation. Participate in the analysis, design, testing, implementation, and support of system enhancements and projects. Collaborate with developers, business users, and vendors to deliver effective technical solutions. Support Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives. Assist with system testing, deployments, issue resolution, and post-implementation support. Support project coordination activities including task tracking, issue management, status reporting, and stakeholder communication. Maintain project and system documentation while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Education:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred. Additional appropriate experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
2 or more years of experience in systems analysis, application support, software development support, or a related technical role. Experience with .NET applications and web/client-server applications, as well as experience supporting insurance systems or business applications, preferred. Experience with SQL Server required.
Skills/Knowledge:
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Understanding of relational databases, system integrations, and application support concepts. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle processes. Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Ability to support testing, deployments, and project delivery activities. Knowledge of automobile insurance policy processing preferred. Mathematics background a plus.
Salary Range:
$65,000
  • $103,800 / $77,500
  • $123,700 / $84,500
  • $134,900 Annual .
Actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; internal equity and other conditions of employment.
