This role works closely with engineering, software development, quality assurance, cybersecurity, program management, and other stakeholders to manage configuration items, baselines, changes, releases, and associated records. Required Skills Bachelor's degree 7-10+ years of configuration management experience Demonstrated experience in configuration management, change management, document control, software release management, or a related discipline. Knowledge of configuration identification, change control, status accounting, verification, and auditing principles. Experience managing technical documentation, product baselines, and controlled repositories. Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret technical requirements, drawings, specifications, and contractual documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and configuration, document-management, or version-control tools. Ability to coordinate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Desired Skills Master's degree Experience supporting government, defense, aerospace, engineering, software, cybersecurity, or other regulated programs. Knowledge of Agile, DevSecOps, systems engineering, software development, or product lifecycle processes. Experience facilitating Configuration Control Boards and conducting functional or physical configuration audits. Configuration management or related professional certification. Familiarity with contract data requirements, data-item descriptions, and government documentation processes.
