This person will sit in North Charleston, SC.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the CM Lead in establishing and maintaining a CM process for controlling hardware, software, documentation, media, and parts Identify, document, and verify the functional, performance, and physical characteristics of systems and their interfaces Support stakeholders in managing change control processes, including Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Requests for Deviation (RFD), and Notices of Revision (NOR) Assist the Configuration Management Lead in planning, conducting, and documenting Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) to ensure system compliance and accuracy Manage and maintain hardware and software configuration data using government systems, such as the DoD IT Portfolio Repository (DITPR)
Qualifications Required Education:
BS degree and five (5) years experience; Four (4) years experience can be considered in lieu of degree
Required Skills:
Understanding basic configuration management principles and practices Skilled with CM tools for status accounting and baseline management Experience in CM plans, baselines, and change control processes for complex hardware and software systems Show knowledge of the engineering change process, including ECPs, RFDs, and NORs Experience in conducting and documenting FCAs and PCAs Familiarity with DoD data management systems such as
