Position Summary Supports the Chief Technology Office in research, analysis, documentation, and coordination for digital modernization initiatives. Assists with briefings, workshop materials, portfolio tracking, current-state assessments, and strategic planning support. Ideal for a student interested in public sector innovation, digital services, technology strategy, and modernization. Performs complex (journey-level) digital project services tasks working under general supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiatives and independent judgement
  • Conducts research on digital transformation, public sector technology trends, and modernization leading practices.
  • Assists with current-state assessments, discovery activities, and documentation of agency or program needs.
  • Supports development of presentations, executive briefings, summaries, and strategic planning materials.
  • Assists preparing workshop agendas, supporting materials, notes, action items, and follow-up documentation.
  • Assists with tracking modernization initiatives, milestones, risks, and opportunities across projects or programs.
  • Contributes to dashboards, scorecards, inventories, and reports that improve visibility into digital transformation efforts.
  • Helps analyze opportunities for improving digital services, customer experience, and adoption of enterprise capabilities.
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Education
  • A recent graduate, or a student currently enrolled in a college or university as an undergraduate, with a major or course work in computer information systems, management information systems, computer science, engineering or a related field (High School diploma required).
  • Must possess academic performance that is considered in good academic standing by college/university standards. Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities We are interested in students with skills in the following:
