Job Description

We have an outstanding Contract position for aSubsystems Stress Analystto join a leading Company located in theFort Worth, TXsurrounding area.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • The successful candidate will be able to perform stress analysis on new and revised designs for routing of wire harnesses, hydraulic tubing, and coolant lines within the F-35 airframe.
Responsible for static strength assessment of brackets, clamps, shelves, pressurized tubes, and welded tubes. Evaluation of deflection for routed tubes to guarantee isolation of systems from the surrounding structure and other systems.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Work directly with designers to convey requirements and to verify compliant products. + Use classical engineering analysis, automated versions of analytical tools, and Finite Element Analysis using Hypermesh , Nastran, and Patran.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
+ Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Mechanics. + Experience in Stress Analysis of Subsystems and Routing. + Experience in developing, running, and working with
Finite Element Models:
HyperMesh, Nastran, and Patran. + Experience in a collaborative work environment and good interpersonal skills for conversing with teammates.
Desired Qualifications:
+ Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. + Excel spreadsheet mathematical calculations and macro coding highly desired. + Familiarity with Catia, 3DX, TMP Vision, Mathcad. + Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Mechanics (specifically). + 15+ years of experience in Stress Analysis of Subsystems (structural attachment of routed harnesses and tubing). + 2+ years of experience in developing, running, and working with
Finite Element Models:
