We're looking for a CMMS Specialist to take ownership of the governance, administration, configuration, functionality, and data integrity of IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) in a fast-paced energy environment. This is an opportunity to move beyond simply using Maximo and become a key resource responsible for how the system supports maintenance, operations, engineering, and asset reliability . What You'll Own Administer and support IBM Maximo , including user access, security groups, application configuration, workflows, and system settings Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the Maximo Asset Database , including asset hierarchy, functional locations, equipment specifications, and related master data Develop, maintain, and optimize Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance programs, job plans, and safety plans Manage and improve the work order lifecycle , ensuring accurate maintenance labor, materials, repair history, and completion data Develop and analyze CMMS reports and KPIs, including PM compliance, schedule attainment, maintenance labor hours, and MTBF Partner with Maintenance Planners, Supervisors, Technicians, Operations, Engineering, and IT Provide Maximo training, troubleshooting, and ongoing end-user support Support Maximo upgrades, patches, testing, troubleshooting, and integrations Work with the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) and other system integrations as needed Identify opportunities to improve Maximo functionality, data quality, maintenance processes, and overall system effectiveness What We're Looking For We're looking for someone with hands-on experience working with IBM Maximo / Maximo Asset Management who understands both the technology and the maintenance processes behind it.
Ideal experience includes:
3-7 years of experience working with Maximo, CMMS, or EAM systems Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo administration or configuration Experience with Maximo Application Designer Knowledge of Maximo Workflow configuration Working knowledge of SQL for reporting and data analysis Experience with Preventive Maintenance, work orders, job plans, asset management, and maintenance work management Understanding of asset hierarchy, functional locations, equipment records, and CMMS data integrity Exposure to Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) is highly desirable Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a high-demand environment High school diploma or GED required Valid driver's license required Why This Role?
