Systems Administrator and Database Administrator duties, including account, privilege, password, audit-file, and database management. Monitor system availability, connectivity, replication, logs, batch processes, and interfaces to maintain 99% uptime. Perform and verify scheduled backups, system recovery, contingency procedures, and routine or emergency startups and shutdowns. Install and maintain approved software baselines, patches, antivirus updates, IAVAs, DAPs, and other cybersecurity updates. Support ACAS scans, VRAM reporting, vulnerability mitigation, and DoD/Navy cybersecurity compliance. Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, account, interface, and database issues for supported Navy aviation activities. Provide remote and on-call technical support, including response within two hours for after-hours outages. Support deployments, detachments, aircraft transfers, Homeguard virtual machines, and equipment installations or removals. Maintain accurate hardware inventories, System Administrator logs, technical records, and required monthly reports.
