Prepares and updates manuals, instructions, and operating procedures. Performs routine and recurring assignments in the delivery of Information technology customer support services. Participates in the planning and delivery of full range of Information Technology customer support services to the organization. Provides help desk support, including information and assistance, to customers including system hardware/software installations, configuration, upgrades and troubleshooting. Reports, responds to and resolves customer requests. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, i., to include a T3 "Secret" clearance. Must meet DoD 8570.01-M baseline certifications for IAT Level I. Must be able to lift and carry up to 40lbs. A physical and a health assessment are required. Must be able to work M-F Nights and Weekends as required for events. Position requires occasional travel away from the duty station. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). A qualified candidate must possess the following: Work experience, which demonstrates IT knowledge and skill including: Participating in the planning and delivery of a full range of IT customer support services Installing, configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting hardware and software components Presenting formal and informal training and assistance to customers Reporting, responding to, and resolving customer requests OR Undergraduate or Graduate Education degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks may be substitute for above experience.
