Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Strong organizational and project management skills. Familiarity with IT systems and security protocols. Knowledge of computer hardware, including desktops, servers, firewalls, storage, routers, switches, printers, and other peripherals. Attention to detail and the ability to follow strict procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Previous experience in an administrative or project management role is a plus. Position will be primarily located in Northern Virginia (NoVa), with the potential for local travel This is a part-time paid position, with a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of a college student. The position will be based in our office location, with potential for remote work as needed. Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $25.00/hr. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay. Job Description:
We are looking for a summer part-time Federal Engineering Support Specialist to join our team and help support our Federal Sales Organization / Federal Programs. The successful candidate will work closely with Federal Engineering Leadership and program teams to facilitate overall operations and help lead projects to enable key business priorities. Key Responsibilities Assist in the development of project plans, technical drawings, and specifications. Assist with conducting laboratory or field tests, collect data, and analyze results to ensure product or system integrity. Maintain detailed records of design iterations, technical reports, and project milestones. Participate in cross-functional team meetings to contribute ideas and provide updates on assigned tasks. Identify technical bottlenecks and propose creative, efficient solutions under the guidance of a mentor. Assist with the development of an integration lab, setting up and configuring IT equipment and software to support customer demonstrations and testing. Assist with customer deliverables, including building and configuring IT equipment and software to meet customer requirements. Assist with hardware procurement and installation, working with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and installation. Lead small projects to enable key business priorities, coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. Assist with the creation of reports and presentations.
