Configuration ManagerLocation:

Lynnwood, WA (Onsite) Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Designer/Drafter for a position focused on configuration management and computer-aided design. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and manipulating 3-D solid models and preparing formal engineering drawings under the guidance of a senior engineer. This role requires demonstrated skills in configuration management practices for technical models, drawings, and documents, along with the ability to work with a variety of technical inputs. Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, update, and manipulate 3-D solid models using Solid Edge.

Prepare formal 2-D engineering drawings from models using standard templates.

Develop drawings from various sources, including existing drawings, physical parts, photographs, and engineering sketches.

Ensure configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorization.

Document and track all aspects of hardware development and modifications.

Prepare configuration verification audit records.

Interact with functional peer group managers and engineering teams.

Required Qualifications3-5 years of experience in Solid Edge Computer-Aided Design (CAD) is required.

Must be familiar with manipulating solid models and preparing 2-D drawings in the Solid Edge environment.

Experience with mechanical, electric, electronic, and electro-mechanical parts and assemblies is also required.

Proficiency in Solid Edge is mandatory.

The role requires knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Must be detail-oriented with strong follow-through and communication skills.

Preferred QualificationsA background in Mechanical Engineering is beneficial.
