Workday Specialized Technical Consultant -The Workday Specialized Technical Consultant is an individual contributor responsible for advanced configuration, optimization, and technical problem‑solving within Workday's Talent & Performance and HCM modules. This role partners closely within the HR Technology team and with stakeholder partners to deliver scalable, high‑quality Workday solutions, with a strong emphasis on configuration expertise, data integrity, and system reliability. Key Responsibilities Configure solutions for Workday Talent, Performance, and HCM modules, ensuring design is scalable, secure, and aligned to business needs. Design and implement complex configuration changes with a strong understanding of upstream and downstream impacts. Serve as a consultative partner to stakeholders, providing guidance on best‑practice configuration approaches. Execute and support quality assurance and regression testing for new functionality. Ensure configuration changes adhere to established governance and technical standards. Support testing, deployment, and stabilization activities tied to Workday releases and enhancements. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for configurations, processes, and support procedures. Contribute to the Workday knowledge base to support consistent delivery and cross‑team learning. What You'll Bring Required Qualifications 5-8+ years of experience supporting and configuring Workday, with deep expertise in Talent & Performance, including Skills functionality. Proven ability to independently design, implement, and troubleshoot complex Workday configurations. Strong understanding of HR talent processes, data structures, and system dependencies. High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for technical excellence. Exposure to adjacent modules (e.g., Core HCM, Learning, Reporting) to support cross‑functional solutions.
