Job Description

IT Operations Intern - Summer 2027 Support the Vice President of Information Technology on research, documentation, artificial intelligence pilots, and project coordination as the IT function modernizes its operating model. This is an analytical and project-support role, not a help desk or hardware role. Duties /
Responsibilities:
Conduct research on technologies, vendors, platforms, and industry practices to inform IT strategy and platform decisions; summarize findings in clear, usable form. Create and maintain IT documentation, including operating-model materials, process documentation, and internal knowledge-base content; keep records current and organized. Support artificial intelligence pilots, including preparing and organizing grounding data, testing assistants, documenting results, and tracking issues and next steps. Coordinate project activities under the direction of the IT Project Manager, including meeting notes, action tracking, and backlog and status upkeep.
What You Can Offer:
Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program. Preferred areas of study include Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of three completed semesters of undergraduate coursework. Prior coursework or project experience involving research, writing, data, or business analysis is preferred. Strong written communication; able to turn research and meeting content into clear, concise summaries. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; comfort learning new software quickly. Interest in and basic familiarity with artificial intelligence tools and their business use. Strong attention to detail and organization; able to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records. Ability to work with people across departments in a courteous, professional manner.
