Overview:

Cantor Fitzgerald, a leading global financial services firm, is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to join its Technology Investment Banking team in our San Francisco office beginning in Summer 2027. This opportunity is designed for highly motivated students graduating in 2027 who are interested in launching a career in investment banking and advising innovative technology companies. As an Analyst, you will work closely with senior bankers, associates, and clients on a variety of strategic advisory and capital markets transactions. Based in our San Francisco office , you will gain hands-on experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings, debt financings, and other strategic initiatives while developing strong technical, analytical, and client-facing skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Support the execution of M&A, equity, and debt transactions for technology clients Build and maintain detailed financial models, including DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions, and other valuation analyses Conduct industry, market, and company research across software, internet, fintech, semiconductor, AI, and other technology sectors Prepare client presentations, pitch books, marketing materials, and transaction-related documentation Analyze financial statements, operating metrics, and market data to support strategic recommendations Assist in due diligence efforts and transaction execution processes Monitor capital markets activity, technology industry trends, and relevant competitive developments Collaborate with banking team members to deliver high-quality analyses and client services Support business development initiatives and new client opportunities Perform ad hoc financial and strategic analyses as required

Qualifications:

Expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027 with a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field Strong academic record and demonstrated interest in investment banking, corporate finance, or financial markets Previous investment banking internship experience is strongly preferred Experience in finance, private equity, corporate development, transaction advisory, valuation, or related internships is advantageous Strong quantitative, analytical, and financial modeling skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, professionalism, and a strong work ethic Interest in the technology sector and emerging industry trends

Salary:
