provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTION

\nAssists in software developmental/operational testing of internal and external customer systems. Contribute as a member of a small project team\nContribute to maintaining and improving software test process\nAssist in the creation and execution of software test plans, test cases, and test scripts\nAssist in identifying, tracking, and documenting defects and anomalies in software\nCollaborate with team on fixing identified defects and anomalies of software\nAssist in creating, maintaining, and reviewing automated software tests\nAssist in creating test runs\nContribute feedback to requirements and design\nKnowledge of software development lifecycle process\nInterest in software development, with the ability to develop simple systems or prototypes and apply a strong understanding of software functionality to support effective testing and quality assurance\n

JOB DUTIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assists in developmental and operational testing of internal and external customer systems. Interface between instrumentation engineers and test customers to ensure that parametric data required is available for test data analysis and accurately reflects the system configuration and operational characteristics: Employee will be responsible for the following functions/duties: Contribute as a member of a small project team\nContribute basic knowledge on the test process\nContribute basic knowledge on EW, RF, or Protocols\nDevelop basic data analysis tools, processes, or products for analysis\nAnalyze pre-test predictions to define data collection requirements\nAssist in the conduct of test activities from control centers\nOrder, QC and analyze data\nIdentify and resolve basic data anomalies\nProvide related support as requested

REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Completion of technical training and four (4) years of related experience; or an associate degree and two (2) years of related experience or a related bachelor's degree (engineering, math, computer science, or physics). The incumbent must understand concepts, principles, and practices of engineering and analysis to enable the employee to serve as a technical authority on projects relating to the specific programs. The position requires knowledge and skill sufficient to apply the latest developments in technology to solve problems in the specialty area.\nIn addition, an Operations/Test Analyst I must possess the following qualifications: Must maintain excellent communications and analytical skills\nMust possess working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs\nMust qualify for and maintain a government security clearance\nMust possess a valid state-issued driver's license SALARY The expected salary range for this position is $78,218.08 to $88,218.08 annually.\n
