As Lead Salesforce Platform Analyst, you'll support that work across Professional and Global Education, the School of Business, and Development & Alumni Engagement. Working alongside the people who run these programs, you'll help make the technology serve what they're trying to accomplish — so a returning learner can pick up where they left off, and an alum's history with UCR is remembered rather than rediscovered. UC Riverside is one of the most diverse research universities in the country and a national leader in moving students up the economic ladder. This is a chance to put deep Salesforce expertise behind that mission, with reach across the full arc of how the university connects with its community. This position is classified as predominantly remote with occasional visits to campus as needed. Working hours will be based on Pacific Standard Time (PST). This position is funded on soft funds for two (2) years only. Should funding be made available in the future this position could be extended. The full salary range for the Lead Salesforce Platform Analyst is $96,000 - $179,400 annually. However, the pay scale for this position is UP TO $137,700 annually. UCR bases salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, UCR is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a university employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. degree Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Required experience 6 - 10 years of related experience. Required Must pass a background check. required Required Advanced skills and methodologies associated with process and software design, modification and implementation. Knowledge relating to the design of processes and software across the organization. Demonstrated skills needed to develop process and system implementation plans. Advanced knowledge of business processes and procedures. Advanced knowledge of business and process analysis functions. Advanced knowledge of related areas of IT. Demonstrated experience with process analysis, systems analysis, process architectures and systems analysis methodologies and practices including traditional waterfall, Agile, Agile Scrum, UML, UML Enterprise, etc. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization. Interpersonal and communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization. Demonstrated ability to work with others from diverse backgrounds. Demonstrated testing and test planning skills. Understanding and skill in complex process and systems requirement documentation standards, such as Use Case modeling, User Story creations and narrative description. Experience working in an education setting, such as K-12, higher education, or lifelong learning and continuing education. Advanced knowledge of Salesforce declarative configuration, including Flow, data model design, page layout and Lightning experience customization, and reporting. Working knowledge of Salesforce data architecture and data management concepts, including data quality, deduplication, record matching, and the relationship between Salesforce and institutional systems of record. Working knowledge of established ITS policies and procedures and applicable state and federal regulations, including UC Electronic Information Security Policy (IS-3), UC privacy policy and FERPA, and demonstrated ability to analyze and document data access and data handling requirements consistent with them. Demonstrated ability to serve as liaison across organizationally independent business units, building consensus and setting functional direction without formal authority.
