The IT Operations Analyst will support IT procurement, budget management, financial tracking, vendor management, and infrastructure/service desk project coordination for the client's technology organization.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Partner with IT managers, Procurement, and Accounts Payable to purchase IT products and services. Process and track purchase requests, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and goods receipts in SAP. Validate vendor payments and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies. Manage vendor communications, relationships, contract renewals, and due diligence activities. Maintain documentation for financial and procurement processes. Record monthly actuals and support financial reconciliation. Assist with annual IT budget preparation and quarterly expense forecasting. Build ad-hoc financial models for project scenarios and budget changes. Monitor cash positions across IT projects to support appropriate liquidity. Assist with infrastructure and service desk project management activities. Document project scope, requirements, tasks, timelines, and deliverables. Track project budgets, milestones, and schedules. Coordinate project meetings and provide regular status updates.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, or a related quantitative field. 2+ years of IT procurement experience using an enterprise-grade ERP system such as SAP. Experience with procurement processes and budget management. Working knowledge of RFP/RFQ processes and vendor selection. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills for budget tracking, reporting, and data management. Fundamental understanding of corporate financial accounting. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across technical and executive teams. Strong organizational skills and rigorous attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ year of IT project management experience. Hands-on SAP procurement experience. Experience using Monday.com for project management.
