POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Security Compliance Analyst keeps our hospital ready for audits and compliance with regulations and frameworks (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CIS, etc.). You'll gather evidence, track controls, and coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and auditors so leadership knows our security posture.
Rate of pay:
$35.17 - $50.64 per hour based on experience - this position requires you to be a current resident of Colordao (Denver metro area) Posting closing date: April 5, 2026 Applications will be accepted until a sufficient number is received. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Licensure/Certification/Registrations:
One of the following certifications: Security+ / HCISPP / CISA / CRISC preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Cybersecurity or related field preferred.
Experience:
2-4 years in security, audit, or compliance (health-care a plus) is preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to be able to maintain good interpersonal relationships. Thorough understanding of TCP/IP network management and security administration, for LAN, WAN, and wireless network environments. Strong understanding of Microsoft environments and IP telecommunications. Working knowledge of Firewall administration, encryption technologies, wireless theory and wireless networking systems. Able to manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting appropriate timelines. Solid understanding of routing, DNS, email systems, and computer access controls. Ability to architect, build, and maintain a stable, reliable, and secure network environment. Adequately document data and voice network infrastructures. To manage multiple projects efficiently with frequent interruptions. The ability to work independently, organize time effectively and the ability to coordinate appropriate resources. Ability to develop, implement and enforce data security measures. Skilled in both oral and in written communication. Strong customer-oriented people skills. Proven analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Commitment to quality and results.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Support audit readiness activities by maintaining the audit schedule, compiling required evidence, and coordinating with internal and external auditors. Assist in conducting and facilitating organizational risk assessments, documenting results, and following up on action items. Perform recurring compliance monitoring checks and contribute to the development and publication of simple dashboards using tools such as SIEM and compliance control applications. Maintain oversight of policy audit requirements, ensuring security policies and associated controls remain current and in compliance with hospital standards. Facilitate vendor and thirdparty risk management activities, including administering questionnaires and tracking remediation actions related to Craig Hospital projects and partners. Support ongoing security awareness initiatives, including training activities and phishing simulations. •This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties.
