full-time About the Position Must be based - Stamford, Connecticut. This is a onsite role. We are looking for a technically minded and detail-oriented Technical Diligence Analyst to support the assessment and acquisition of commercial and industrial solar PV assets. Reporting to the Director of Diligence, this role will be responsible for supporting technical reviews, coordinating site inspections and helping identify potential risks associated with prospective acquisitions. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of solar PV systems, combined with experience in engineering, construction or project management. You will work closely with Engineering, Operations and Development teams to gather, review and assess technical information throughout the diligence process. You will also coordinate internal field resources and third-party contractors, review inspection findings and help translate technical observations into clear reports and CapEx requirements. Your analysis will play an important role in supporting investment decisions and ensuring acquired assets meet technical and operational standards. There will also be an opportunity to improve and develop diligence processes, tools and reporting frameworks to create a more efficient and consistent approach across the portfolio. Responsibilities Support technical due diligence across commercial-scale solar PV projects Perform desktop assessments of project documentation, technical data and system performance Review electrical drawings, construction plans and other technical documentation Coordinate and schedule site inspections with internal teams and external contractors Oversee third-party inspection providers and support field inspection engineers Review inspection reports and identify technical, construction and operational risks Standardize technical findings and incorporate them into diligence reports and CapEx assessments Work closely with Engineering, Operations and Development to validate technical findings Support the creation of tools, templates and processes to improve the diligence function Prepare concise technical assessments and recommendations for senior leadership and investment teams Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline preferred Experience within engineering, project management, construction management or technical diligence C&I solar PV experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of solar PV systems, components and industry standards Ability to interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams and construction plan sets Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Experience with Procore and/or Company Cam is advantageous Comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders, contractors and projects Willingness to travel periodically to project sites Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
