Job Description

Job Description The IT Service Lifecycle Analyst assists with the success of the full lifecycle of IT services, ensuring services are strategized, designed, documented, transitioned, operated, and improved on throughout their lifecycles in accordance with ITIL best practices. In addition to the service lifecycle, this role is responsible for organizing and running our change advisory board (CAB) and expediting virtual CAB requests.
Service Lifecycle Support:
Support the execution of the Service Lifecycle process to ensure new and existing services meet documented business requirements. • Assist in gathering service requirements from stakeholders and contribute to the design and documentation of services aligned with business objectives and IT capabilities.
Service Portfolio Support:
Help maintain the service portfolio by updating service records, verifying data accuracy, and ensuring services reflect current operational status. • Monitor service performance metrics and escalate discrepancies or risks to senior team members.
Release Management Support:
Coordinate with technical teams to support the planning, testing, and deployment of software and service releases. • Assist in preparing release documentation, validating test results, and communicating release schedules to stakeholders.
Change Management:
Assist with the Change Management process, ensuring that all changes to services, systems, and infrastructure are controlled, executed, and closed effectively. • Facilitate, participate, and occasionally lead the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to assess, approve, and prioritize changes. Skills and Requirements Service Lifecycle Management:
Expertise in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of IT services, from initial design through retirement. • Experience in designing and optimizing IT services to meet business requirements, including capacity planning, availability management, and service continuity.
Change and Release Management:
Extensive experience in Change Management and Release Management processes, including risk management, stakeholder communication, and post-implementation review.
Governance and Compliance:
Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and internal governance frameworks, ensuring services are designed and managed in accordance with legal, security, and compliance requirements.
Change Management Tools and ITSM Platforms:
Proficiency with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or similar platforms to manage service lifecycle processes. • Familiarity with release management and change management tools to streamline and automate tasks where appropriate.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in IT Service Management. • Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of IT services, from conceptualization and design to transition, operation, and retirement.
