Role Overview:
The IT Procurement Control Analyst is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of IT hardware, ensuring seamless stockroom operations and clear communication between IT teams and procurement. You will act as a critical liaison, managing inventory health, fulfilling hardware requests, and maintaining data accuracy within our service management platforms.Key Responsibilities:
Inventory & Lifecycle Management:
Oversee inventory replenishment orders and perform regular stockroom audits to ensure optimal hardware levels.Standards & Compliance:
Maintain and update Standard Device Types (SDTs) and models within IT stockrooms, proactively reporting outdated hardware to leadership for lifecycle planning.Strategic Liaison:
Serve as the primary bridge between Purchasing and local IT teams to validate stock quantities and streamline the requisition-to-receipt workflow.Proactive Communication:
Provide consistent delivery status and ETA updates via ticketing systems (ServiceNow) and direct correspondence with local IT stakeholders.Incident & Request Governance:
Review hardware-related requests for accuracy, manage potential cancellations with IT leadership, and initiate break/fix incidents on behalf of end-users to ensure rapid device replacement.Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Systems Proficiency:
Hands-on experience navigating ServiceNow for asset tracking and Workday for procurement or HR workflows.Operational Knowledge:
A strong understanding of the full purchase lifecycle, from initial requisition through to final receipt and stocking.Inventory Expertise:
Proven experience in inventory management, specifically handling IT hardware or technical assets.Professional Autonomy:
Ability to work independently with high initiative, taking full ownership of customer requirements and deadline-driven tasks. #HP Pay:
